Newly Redesigned Website!

If you haven't yet been to my website,, you are missing out. It has been completely redone. The look and feel are completely different. Much darker, much more refined, much more professional. The navigation is new and improved. I am proud of it and very happy with it. It is much cleaner overall.
The biggest improvement is that my music plays continuously as you peruse your way through my pages. Another significant change is that my blog is now hosted on and no longer on my own website.

15 days

That’s right. 15 days till we hit the beach in St. Maarten. We are totally stoked. Even more since yesterday, on the way home from work, when it was 26 degrees at its highest and my (rachel) car window freaking broke. I had to drive back from work on 45 min + heavy highway miles with the window down, heat cranking and the rolling stones blasting to try and help lighten the situation. It was bad news. Please deliver me directly to the beach.

It's finally winter and there is no escaping it.

We have had a very mild winter here in New England up until about two weeks ago. We will now have a seven day stretch without reaching the freezing point, or in our case the thawing point.

I (Rachel) have been working in the real world for two weeks now and I am exhausted! I have started my work as a fee for service clinician and the work is great. The paperwork not so great. Lots of paperwork surrounding insurance and such. My co-workers are cool and super helpful in helping me get up and running.

In other news, Jer is kicking around the idea of grad school. He is thinking about a High Tech M.S./MBA. If he went it would be in 2008 - so a long way off - but he needs to study up for the GMAT etc. real soon.

Time to eat. Poor Man's Pasta is on the menu for tonight

boil up some:

angel hair

in another pan thow in some:

olive oil
garlic powder
onion flakes

heat in up till it crackles

throw in:

angel hair
minced garlic
crushed red pepper
(you put these in with the angel hair or they will burn)

serve with parmesean cheese and enjoy.
