New Music Player (look to your right)

If you haven't already noticed there is a new music player on the sidebar of this page. I have programmed it to not auto-start, so you will need to push the backwards play button twice (Don't ask me why it is backwards).
I was going to put up a Poll section so that everyone could vote for their favorite song but that got too complicated. For now, just enjoy, but remember if you click on a link you will be taken to a new page and the beautiful music will stop, so be careful and feel free to stay on our site all day just to listen.
If you would prefer it to auto-start please post a comment and if enough are posted I will change it.

Freaking Jury Duty

On Monday, September 10th I (Rachel) showed up at the Dedham district court for jury duty. You know the drill, you sit there miserable for a few hours and then you go home, dismissed for three more years. Duty done. This time around, I was chosen for a case, a boring civil case. Today is September 18th and there is no end in sight. Well, maybe Thursday, maybe. The commonwealth is good enough to pay us jurors $50 a day after the 3rd day, so pretty soon I am going to be rolling in the dough. I try my best to pay attention - and my understanding of what they are talking about has gone up quickly over the last few days. If you catch me on the sly maybe I will tell you some of the things I think about when my mind wanders...

New Song - Hold On to Forever

I have finally finished recording and mixing a new song. This is definitely my most computer intensive song yet. Hopefully you like it. Let me know what you think.

Our Friend Lucas

Our friend Lucas is in town and we are excited to see him. The above picture is, of course, not our friend Lucas, but since it was brought up, what ever happened to Kerri Green?

Here is our friend Lucas.
He is on another tour with Interpol, so we are going to meet him for some delectable desserts at Finale in the theatre district. We are hoping the rain backs off so that we can take the hog into town. It is so nice to be able to get into the city in 15 minutes and not have to worry about parking.

Also, today being the day that it is I wanted to do something, but I am sure the interwebs will be filled with blog entries and the like far more articulate than mine. Also, I was out of the country at the time, so I was a little detached from the emotion of it all.

God bless America.

Martha's Vineyard

Jeremy and I went to Martha's Vineyard August 24-27. Rachel's parents, along with close freinds of the family got a house down there and we crashed for a long weekend. The weather was beautiful, and with New England weather being the way it is, my parents were very lucky, it stayed beautiful for the whole week.

This was a Hog-cation, rather than a vacation, so we packed up a backpack up tight, drove 2 hours to Woods Hole on Cape Cod and took the 1 hour ferry to Oak Bluffs. So the Harley has now travelled by land and by sea.

Harleys is a row...

Here are some pictures of the house.

A little chip and putt on the side lawn (view is nice too!) They had golf balls as well as wiffle ball-like golf balls so you don't take out a window or two.

Playing our new favorite game, cribbage.

We met this little dog (named Killer) when Jer had a little incident with the bike.

No, not this type of incident.

We went out saturday morning to enjoy a nice ride to find that there was a hole in our tire the size of a golf tee (no accociation with the chip and putt lawn). We had to drive around like mad filling up the tire with air till we found (with carl & suki's assistance) a shop that would fix our tire - for a hefty fee.
This is the place:

After this adventure we drove to menemsha beach and passed out...all we got was a picture of this statue with a bird on it's head.

the next day we took a long ride out to Aquinnah. Here is a pic of us overlooking the famous clay cliffs (aren't we adorable?)

We also hit up Edgar Town, the fancy pants place where the movie stars go, which is also near the imfamous chapaquittic (sp?)
