Happy Birthday!

Happy 3 Month Birthday Baby Elliott!

Right now you are snoozing in your sling after daddy and I have decorated the apartment for Christmas. We are excited to see how you like the lights in the living room. We are going to turn on the lights to make them blink, which we think you will get a big kick out of. Happy Birthday Baby!

Blog update

I have changed the layout of the blog for two reasons. The first and most important reason is that now we can post larger formatted videos of the cutest baby in the world. The second reason is there is another blog with a very similar address to ours that used the same template. (thanks to Mike for finding that) Hope you enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving

Today, after both Rachel and Elliott were up we went for a long walk in the nice weather. Elliott was sporting her Pooh-Suit.

After our walk Elliott changed into her Thanksgiving day suit:

further updates

I was feeling bad for both my mom and Elliott because they won't get to see each other for quite some time. So here is another video for you mom.

Elliott is all set for the long cold winter with her cool Pooh-Suit. This picture reminds me a little of Ralphy from "A Christmas Story."

Week 13 update

Elliott has really been starting to discover the world around her, and sometimes that world is filled with toys.

We have also noticed that the play time portion of her cycle is increasing. Now we can play for around 20 minutes before she starts to transition into spy mode.

Be warned the following video is 3 minutes of baby cuteness. The dog's name is coco.

It's cold out there.

As I was preparing to go to school today, here is what I saw:

I am not ready for it to be this cold.

Survey (updated)

As you may know, I am involved in a big semester long project at school. We are acting as Brand Managers for St Ives Body Wash. My team would like as many responces to the survey so I have resorted to guerrilla baby tactics. (It seams that our baby has a slight Canadian accent)

Please take this survey. Thank you very much in advance.

(update): The survey link will take you to the beginning page of the survey which looks like the end of the survey. This is a problem which Qualtrics.com. Please click the button on the bottom right that contains two arrows ">>". Thank you.

Any given Thursday

Earlier this month Elliott had a "meet the baby" party and Rachel's cousin got her a monkey stuffed animal. She has really taken to it and is starting to grab and hold on to things.

Also today I found an interesting recipe on a friend's blog:

We decided to try it out:

It turned out rather spongey. We will try again soon to see if it yields better results.

Lastly, since the Patriots are playing tonight on Thursday night football:

Movie suggestions

Since Rachel did not come with me to church due to my early morning meeting, I am sitting here in sacrament meeting thinking about which movies to add to our Netflix queue.

We have discovered that a movie takes at least twice as long to watch with a new baby (feedings, diaper changes, crying...). For this reason and for a few others we are looking for light movies that are also high in quality. Shortness might also be a good aspect of the movie.

I am reaching out to you to suggest movies to add to our netflix queue.

We are on the cheapest netflix plan and we don't often find time to watch a movie so it may take a while for us to watch the suggested movie and get back to you.

So, please leave your movie suggestions as comments to this post.
Thanks in advance.

Elliott's Tricks (updated)

We took these three videos today and thought that they were so cute that I put them together into one video. These videos show how active she is becoming.

Family Photo

Today, we gave our baby a blessing at church. We dressed her up real nice like and we decided to take a family photo. We took several serious ones and a few over the top cheesy ones. Here is a photo, we will let you determine in which category it falls.
