Baby Love

Elliott's friend, Baby J, came over today for a brief play date. It would have been a longer play date if it weren't a blizzard outside. Baby J and Elliott were born two days apart and Rachel considers them currently betrothed.

Elliott turns Four Months old

Elliott turned four months today. She was in high spirits this evening. We had Suki and Papa over for a pancake dinner celebration.

We have discovered that Elliott likes it when you make meow sounds and is also starting to like games. Neither Rachel or myself have heard Elliott laugh this much.

After this video she let out an even bigger belly laugh but the camera wasn't rolling.

Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas. We had lots of fun and received a lot of gifts. There are many pictures that could be posted but since it is late and we are tired I will post only one for now.

General Update

We had our doctor's checkup today for Elliott. Everything is good and Elliott weighed in at 12 lbs. 12 oz. (35%) and 25 in. (85%).

This past Sunday we had our traditional Christmas with Nancy, otherwise known as Fancy. While there Elliott was in a great mood and we discovered that she really loves the "Cow Jumped Over the Moon" toy.

Here are some photos from the night. Elliott was of course the star and we would have put her on top of the tree but that would have been awkward.

I was still unshaven from being on holiday.

This little yellow hat, which we love, is from Peru. Our friend Dina brought it back for us.
We put E. in the jolly jumper but she didn't quite understand the principle of the thing.

These is from the snow storms we had this weekend.

Elliott's Roar

Elliott has been making some new sounds the past few days. I think it was yesterday that she started play roaring. She was doing it for at least 20 minutes straight tonight while Rachel and I were eating dinner. Here are some excerpts. Enjoy. Babies make for good entertainment when you are snowed in.

End of the semester

Last night marked the end of the fist semester of my MS-MBA program. Even though I was really tired from only having 4:30 hours of sleep the night before, we went out to celebrate a little bit. We went to Finale for a great chicken Caesar salad and wonder chocolate molten and creme brulee. It was great.

Elliott had slept all day, maybe sensing that mommy wasn't feeling great in the afternoon. That being said, she was ready for party fun time when we got home and I think she was extra happy because she knew that daddy would be home for the next two weeks. Since I was in such a good mood we had lots of fun.

Here is some more video of our perfect little daughter.

Gift Exchange

This evening Rachel went to a gift exchange and we dressed up our resident Christmas elf.

While there, another one of Santa's little helpers was enamored with Elliott.

Even though things got a little out of hand, Elliott was cool as a cucumber.

When they got home Elliott was talking up a storm. The book says babies will start testing how loud they can be and I think she has started.

Exams are finished!!!

Exams are over for the semester and to celebrate Elliott had a little too much to drink and took it out on my face. After that incident we gave E. a bath and I washed my face.

E. was so cute today in her little red snow man outfit. She is also holding her head up really well during tummy time and is even starting to do crunches to pull her head up off the ground when on her back. She has also really started reaching for toys which is amazing to me. She is the best.
