An Incomplete Kind of Alphabetical Word List


We sat down this evening and attempted to compile a list of words Elliott now knows. Some will be repeats from the old list. Some will be missing because they are already on the old list. And because we accept imperfection in order to make things happen. Here goes!

Airplane (She has an eagle eye for these things)
Again (she hears a song she likes, do something that makes her laugh)

Baby
Bath (Don't say this word unless you intend to give her one. Baby loves that bath!)
Buba (sippy cup)

Boca (like the burger)
Bed (she likes to jump in hers)

Button (Belly)
Brush (We have tooth brushes stashed around house so she does not lose her good one)
Bootie (Pirates Bootie Snack)

Computer (in her own way)

Cheese (for the camera or to eat)
Cool (the food is not hot it is cool)
Corn (with an !!)

Dia (short for quesadilla! she says it three times in a row with a dance)

"Happy Birthday" (happybee - she likes the song and want to sing it when she sees a picture of cake)

Whoo Hoo for communication! You didnt' mention all her her sign language. Next time I see you I want to hear her say turtle. :)
